Magic steals Game 1 of the first-round from Raptors

Orlando Magic upsets the Toronto Raptors beating them 104-101 in their series opener at Scotiabank Arena. DJ Augustin led them as he had his best game this season scoring 25 points and dishing-out six assists. With 1.4 seconds left in the final quarter, he drilled a go-ahead 3 pointer to steal a Game 1 win in the Eastern Conference first-round series.
Seven of nine Magic players played in this game scored double digits as they shoots 48.3 percent from the field. The defense of Aaron Gordon and Jonathan Isaac really helped them overcome the powerhouse team Raptors as they had 3 steals and 3 blocks respectively.

Raptors is led by Kawhi Leonard who scored 25 points and six rebounds, Paskal Siakam added 24 points and 9 rebounds.

Kyle Lowry Struggling in scoring

Kyle Lowry is important for the Raptors system because of his scoring and play-making ability but today is different, as he finished the game with no score at all in 0-of-6 from three but he had eight assists and seven rebounds. It looks like he's not the best point guard on the floor, he struggled on his shooting especially on his 3-point shooting.

Magic's defense gave them an edge from Raptors

Magic really worked hard especially in defense coming into the post-season as they won 22 of their last 30 games. Against the Raptors, it shows that their defense is a big factor for their win. If they continue this level of defense, it's no doubt that they gonna win this series and upsets the second seed Raptors.

Game 2 will happen on Monday (Tuesday, PHL time), again at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
